All the staff were amiable and great. The unit we got was brand-new with a balcony, comfortable beds, for instance. The cost was £ 157.

Lovely hotel, we liked the amicable staff and cheap room. The location for our purpose was good, next to a railway station. For dinner we chose The Morning Glory, that was 400 metres from the property.

Generally, the room was pretty nice, clean.
But there were а few minuses: we book two rooms, and one of them was ok, but in the other, the bathroom was badly organized: for example, too small space around toilet even for people with XS-size of clothes. And the breakfast was the poorest I've ever seen in hotels, it's better first to look, what they have and then pay for it or to go and have breakfast outside the hotel.

We loved the location which was across from the train station and ten minutes walk from the center of town and the Aix-les-Bains casino. We wanted a value for money accommodation with a central location which is exactly what we got. The young woman at the reception desk was extremely helpful in providing tourist information and very cheerful. Luxury travelers will not find this place suitable (no restaurant or room service), but we loved it as it had a small elevator and our decorated room offered a view of the lovely mountain behind the train station. Double paned glass provided good sound insulation and we slept soundly each night. The hotel has a car park, but it is an ideal location to arrive by train from Geneva or other origins and stay, being very close to the center of town. The Aix-les-Bains Casino is a must visit! Best casino we have ever visited in the world! - decorated with old world elegant stained glass and wood (Queen Victoria visited here incognito as "The Countess of Balmoral") and having wonderful restaurants that are reasonably priced. Aix-les-Bains is a very upmarket town located on France's largest fresh water lake. There are hotels on the lake (further away) but the best place to stay is in town where all the shopping and night life are - all accessible on foot. Very high income city with no low income areas and we felt very safe here walking around at all hours day and night.
The shower in our bathroom was very small and had no shower curtain so the bathroom floor got a bit wet. Showers in French country hotels are notoriously small and this shower was average although it was designed in a Moroccan style. The lighting in the bathroom could have been better, but for what we were paying we felt we got great value for money.

Very comfortable hotel at budget prices - there is no restaurant but it's a 5 minute walk to the centre of town where there is a good selection of restaurants. Reserved parking is secure within the building. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and the rooms were very clean and surprisingly spacious. Excellent value.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was convenient, clean and reasonably priced. The room at the back was quiet and roomy and there was a good view.
Small changes would make a lot of difference. The breakfast was overpriced compared with much better-appointed hotels in Lyon, and items were allowed to run out; one day it was bread, another cheese, another tea. The bathroom was so cramped that someone who was well-built would find it impossible to use the toilet, though it was fine for us.

The hotel is in a fantastic location close to the casino, summer garden, shopping streets, and the charming old town center. It's also a short walk to the bus stop to Lac du Bourget. the room we stayed in was spacious with a comfortable queen bed and a balcony, which was great.
